Colin Hardaway grew up playing many sports, basketball being his forte, as he went on to play for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks in 2006. Stepping onto the music scene in early 2008, Hardaway has strived to bring intelligence back to Hip Hop with lyrical content that goes unparralled in the majority of today’s urban music.

Hardaway’s debut album, Sound Check, was released July 14th, 2009 and is available on Rhapsody, amazon.com, and iTunes.com. Hardaway also performs with a band called Hardaway & The Commoners, who specialize in “Organic Hip Hop.” The band released their critically acclaimed debut album, Off The Record, in August 2009.  For more on the band, visit commonersband.com

The rhythmic style of the rapping is smooth and smart.. The tracks have depth and groove well. The beats are always strong and the vocals are a good fit for it
